The objective of the course is to understand the perceptual function of the image in relation to the city and its ever-changing identity, to be able to recognize the structure and elements of design and to deconstruct and reconstruct them and finally to produce new images and meanings.
SUBJECT
During the course, we examine issues concerning the connection of the image of the city and its meaning to the methods used by painting. Short lectures made by the instructor or by visiting artists about selected images and discussions with the students pave the way for the workshop - creative project.
