In the course, students are introduced to issues of ecology management of natural ecosystems and environmental ethics. The circular ecosystem of the city is highlighted. There is a discussion about the current environmental problems faced the world community , their causes and the efforts to overcome them. By becoming familiar with the above issues and understanding the importance of the balance of urban and rural systems, they will be able to utilize environmental knowledge and tools into the design for the sustainable and resilient cities and settlements.
