SUBJECT
The course revolves around four main axes.
- Theoretical approach of the subject in the form of lectures, namely: bearing structure, Foundation, inner sleeve, outer sleeve, frames (windows- doors), stairs, roofs-terraces, facilities, surroundings.
- Visits to construction sites
- Exercises of on-site measurements
- Design exercise of the semester. Usually consists of small two-storey house. A full representation in general construction scale of 1: 50 (final design) is asked , as well as the structural organisation (bearing structure).
