Biography

Maria Saliari is Physicist with expertise in Environmental Physics. She was part of the laboratory teaching staff of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Piraeus University of Applied Sciences and co-supervisor of undergraduate and post graduate students (NKUA). She is currently a tutor in three e-learning programs (NKUA). She has is co-author of 12 articles in peer reviewed international journals, 3 articles for international conferences and one book chapter.

She has worked as a research associate for NKUA and Centre for Renewable Energy Sources & Saving. Her professional experience includes designing, organizing, managing and executing national and European projects. She has been working on energy efficiency in buildings, energy savings strategies and systems evaluation, Indoor and outdoor environmental monitoring, development and experimental assessment of material for the built environment. Her professional experience also includes Building Performance Simulation as well as microclimate simulation.
