Σας ενημερώνουμε ότι σύμφωνα με την 26η Γ.Σ./11-05-2011, οι εξετάσεις του εαρινού εξαμήνου του τρέχοντος ακαδημαϊκού έτους θα διεξαχθούν στο διάστημα από 20/06/2011 έως 08/07/2011.
Παράλληλα, οι παρουσιάσεις των ερευνητικών θεμάτων θα πραγματοποιηθούν στο διάστημα από 20/06/2011 έως 24/06/2011 και οι παρουσιάσεις των διπλωματικών εργασιών στο διάστημα από 04/07/2011 έως 08/07/2011.
Objectives
The processes of digital fabrication and software of parametric design have been influencing the methods, theories and architectural design thinking. The systems of cad/cam have been through such an evolution that they can be considered an instrument of mass production for the designer.
The participants to the workshop will have the opportunity to approach the new dynamic design investigations their possibilities, their limitation and their prospects.
The objective arisen from the workshop provides the participants with the techniques, theories and methods for the utilisation of the software of parametric design and the machines of digital fabrication.
Aim
This second workshop will take place in Italy, at Amalfi Cost, in the city Vietri sul Mare, declared as as world heritage site since 1997 (including other villages of Amalfi Cost). The zone of the cost has been the object of interventions due to its environmental restoration and urban approach in order not to alter the conditions of equilibrium between earth and water. In fact these last two conditions, cover/generate all (the arc of) the possibilities related to the morphology present in all the Amalfi Cost between the sea and the ground. From the beach to the cliff and from the gorge to the rocks, to the smallest grain of sand, the stretch of the cost of Vietri sul Mare offers a variety of relationships between diverse natural elements and ecosystems and a high degree of biodiversity. Therefore, the topic of the second Digital Workshop is focused on the ecotone, as mediation area and transition between different ecosystems. The part of the cost chosen as object for the workshop is surrounded by two crags of rocks offering extraordinary opportunities for design.
The opportunity for the participants will be extraordinary as the design explorations will be guided by parametric-generative logics, introducing digital production. The workshop will produce projects for elements of environmental restoration and will assume new approaches for the recuperation of those zones.

Την Παρασκευή 13 Μαΐου θα πραγματοποιηθούν στο Μουσείο Πλινθοκεραμοποιίας Ν. & Σ. Τσαλαπάτα (Πολυχώρος Τσαλαπάτα) τα εγκαίνια έκθεσης των αρχιτεκτονικών μελετών που διακρίθηκαν στα Βραβεία Αρχιτεκτονικής «Δομές 2011».

Σας ενημερώνουμε ότι οι εξετάσεις για τα "Αγγλικά ΙΙ" και "Αγγλικά IV" θα γίνουν ως εξής:

Σύμφωνα με ενημέρωση από τον "Εύδοξο" και για το μάθημα "Αρχιτεκτονική Σύνθεση Ι", το βιβλίο με τίτλο "Φατούρος" δεν θα διανεμηθεί. Συνεπώς, όσοι φοιτητές δεν έχουν ακόμη κάνει δήλωση συγγράμματος θα πρέπει να δηλώσουν την άλλη επιλογή και όσοι έχουν ήδη δηλώσει το σύγγραμμα να επικοινωνήσουν με τον "Εύδοξο" για να τους ενημερώσει πως θα κάνουν την αλλαγή.
Σας ενημερώνουμε ότι η καταληκτική ημερομηνία επιλογής συγγραμμάτων παραμένει η 30η Απριλίου 2011. Η περίοδος παραλαβής συγγραμμάτων για το εαρινό εξάμηνο παρατείνεται μέχρι και τις 23 Μαίου 2011.
Το Τμήμα Αρχιτεκτόνων Μηχανικών του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας καλεί τους ενδιαφερόμενους να υποβάλουν υποψηφιότητα για την παρακολούθηση του Προγράμματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών (ΠΜΣ) για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2011-2012, που οδηγεί στην απονομή Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος Ειδίκευσης (ΜΔΕ) στον Αρχιτεκτονικό Σχεδιασμό.
Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι-ες θα πρέπει να υποβάλλουν μέχρι την Δευτέρα 6.6.2011 (σφραγίδα ταχυδρομείου, σε περίπτωση ταχυδρομικής αποστολής) στην Γραμματεία του ΠΜΣ τα δικαιολογητικά που αναγράφονται στην προκήρυξη.

The Cultural Association “Il Tamarindo” announces the first international competition of ideas to design a pavilion for the info‐point Nausicaa Festival – Festival of the Mediterranean Youth Culture – an event sponsored by the Institute for the Mediterranean Architecture (IsAM).
