Silviu Medeșan (b. 1984) is an architect, a researcher and an urban activist working and living in Romania.
He holds a PhD at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca with the title Form follows Situation - Contemporary city as foreseen by the Situationists. He presented his academic work in Germany, The Netherlands, Bulgaria, Moldova and universities from Romania and the UK. He published 2 books based on his practice-based research: cARTier. Peripheral Interventions (2016) and Form follows situation (2020) and several peer-reviewed articles in Studies in Theory and Architecture, Futures journal, among others.
Currently he is teaching and doing research as lecturer in the department of architecture, Faculty of Construction, Cadaster and Architecture at the University of Oradea, România.
