Weiling He received her diploma in architecture and her March from Southeast University, China (1995, 1998) and her PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA (2005). She is assistant professor at the College of Architecture, Texas A&M University where she teaches Design Studios and communication studies. She is consultant to Greentown Oriental Architectural Deign Co., LTD. Hangzhou, China. Her publications focus on design creativity and on translations through various media as a design tool.
