DEPT. OF ARCHITECTURE
UNIVERSITY OF THESSALY

The percentage of women students in the Greek Schools of Architecture represents the 75-80% of the student population. This percentage though does not correspond either to the architecture practise or to the public image of architecture. Therefore this series of lectures aims to the obvious. That is to construct a platform for women architects to present their practises in architectural education, design, construction, research, art. And so, to answer to that naive but –at the same time-powerful question raised by a student team in one of the first student papers on Gender and Space “Women architects where are you?”
