the endless city
The city fragments appearing when travelling a road, could well be fragments of an infinite city. When the borders of the city are never traversed, not even visible, the borders could be considered as inexistent. The city has no limits, it is a city whose outline can only be imagined if not represented and thus, it is an endless city. Its endlessness does not only refer to its contours, but also to its development or its temporal existence. Any city abstract, intangible to its borders, suggests an infinite city.
