The contact between human and architecture is daily and necessary. To a degree each facet of our physical activity comes into contract with the need to perceive space in which we move. Our contact with the natural as well the buiγγlt space is based on our senses, with their assistance and, more generally, with the assistance of our body, we are able to orient ourselves and to analyze our environment. In this research, an attempt is made to study the interaction of the human senses and the body with the generated architectural space. Therefore, the sensory experience of the designing results is researched and an effort is made to identify the points which each architect can consider in order to create a multi-sensory experience. The issue of the activation of the senses, is also an aspect of the social dimension of architecture aiming at the enjoyment of the architectural project by people who do not have the ability for a complete sensory approach. The lack of hearing or vision, are two key examples. For the study and the understanding of the extent of the relationship between architecture and the senses, there is a reference to biological, philosophical, historical and social - cultural factors. The aim is to understand the meaning of the senses as part of the everyday human existence. Afterwards comes a study of the presence of sensory stimuli in architectural work, based on more detailed and explanatory architectural examples. This analysis of the sensory dimension of space is based on the works of famous architects and aims at the acceptance of an architecture deeply influenced by the complete composition and functionality of the human body. The way in which the user perceives the subjective space and his interaction with architecture are the core of this study.
