This thesis is based on the olive tree as a symbol of culture, learning, and sustainability. The thesis presents a proposal for the creation of an Olive Museum and, at the same time, an experiential learning workshop in the area of Kyparissia, thus creating a space where history and production coexist. The museum narrates the journey of the olive, from cultivation and harvesting to pressing, tasting, and its role in Mediterranean societies. The museum’s exhibits are divided into two themes: the permanent exhibition on the history of the olive and the tools used to harvest olives, located on the ground floor, and the temporary exhibition on the first floor. The workshop complements this narrative with practical production areas as well as cooking and experiential learning workshops for children and adults. Together, they create a cultural center where learning takes place through participation. The design of the buildings draws in spiration from the landscapes of the region, incorporating olive groves, natural light, and local materials. Finally, the thesis aims to re define the museum as an interactive, sensory, and community environment, transforming heritage into a living and shared experience.
