Nowadays, architectural design tools, such as cad and 3D modeling programs, have replaced pencil and paper. Parametric design, which emerged as a result of digital design, has changed architecture today in the context of design, design tools, construction techniques. The technology and capabilities of computers influence and change architecture. It is possible that a new architectural style-movement will emerge through this process. The concept of Parametricism as a style was introduced by Patrick Schumacher in 2008 in the "Parametricist Manifesto", which is presented at the Eleventh Architecture Biennale in Venice. In this presentation, Schumacher argues that Parametricism could be the new great movement of our time to succeed Modernism. But beyond that, Schumacher and the Parametric movement have received a number of negative comments and criticisms as to whether it is indeed an architectural movement. This research aims to conclude whether Parametrism is ultimately the new great movement of our century that will succeed modernism or whether it is ultimately a design method as argued by Schumacher critics..
