The Greek Cypriot city expanded to the south and included the urban areas that were previously out of context.
Since then, new universities have been established in the suburbs of the city in an effort to develop further more areas of Nicosia and introduce new facilities. Young adults were asked series of questions about the means of transportation they use and their preference in outdoor activities. Then, the data were been analyzed in order to reveal the choices of the target group for the different areas of the city.
Future architectural plans were also investigated, based on the existing plans to understand how the designs affect the habits of young citizens. The changes that will influence the city and whether these changes are in line with the habits of young people were also examined.
