Moving in a constructed reality of the city , you are going through distances, forming a personal navigator, which you always redefine. You reveal yourself, creating routes with continuities and discontinuities, as personal desires while at the same time you become trapped in the "buried” of the city. Searching for direction, you collect elements from routes created by disoriented steps, which later you translate them into traces of another future urban wandering. In that way you incorporate or detract your substance into the crowd of the city, which either sometimes absorbs you or others eliminates you.
In this research paper, we locate a site of action with metropolitan characteristics, which actually correlates urban structure with our experiential involvement. The focused paper refers to the city of Athens and in fact it is a result of a composition of two basic logics. On the one hand, events with a fictitious character with behaviours that concern the user are recorded and on the other hand the above mentioned documentation is analyzed with theoretical extensions. Contributorily, given the overall urban composition using the metro network (stops, routes) as a basis, we incorporate it as a "trick" into this paper. By this way, we set up two parallel narratives that take place between the ground and the underground city. Each user- protagonist emerges from the underground city, taking with him personal illustrations, as evaluations of his "own" reality and at the same time levitates into a contract with the ground city that works in a supervisory manner.
The main point of interest concerns the approach of urban perception, either as "permanent human workforce”, or as a random chosen user. The possible user could be anyone. He could alterate roles, verify substances and disprove his own. As a result, in the first narrative the user is determined by numerical characteristics as an acceptance of a lost identity. He acts in the space and time of the city without determining the base line and the finishing, but by certifying the fragmentary of the incidents, as perplexed thoughts. In the second part, the subject- user interrupts his action since a supervisory analysis replaces him and focuses on his relation with the urban structures.
In conclusion , we observe the way the city that seems fixed and unchanged, is reshaped and transformed, gaining as many versions as the various users. We map the movements, we collect traces and consider the existence of memory, in a relief map ground. We detect the urban structure, creating those fragments that compose the city and those which eliminates it.
