By the time we were born, we ask for security. This feeling is coming from intimacy. As a result, intimacy is a major human need. In reverse, predicament and weird situations people face, are pretty common in our lives. The unknown or the foreign sense depends on our life and experiences. What happens, though, when we experience something for the first time? What do we feel that moment? Which factors make a situation weird? Is it the place, the time, or an experience that lead us to an uncommon situation? It is possible to feel panic or fear when we leave something familiar behind.  Such situations affect people’s psychology and cause “Uncanny feelings”. This term was described by the psychologist Sigmund Freud and it is depended by the individual, the society, time and tradition. As a result, the uncanny is formed by people’s fantasy, mental health and prejudices. Either Art or Architecture uses this term to cause disturbance. By the time people try to face this discomfort, they will be leading into new experiences. In general, art and architecture affect people. In this way, the uncanny can enhance the individual and the whole society. This is the exact reason why plenty of artists, researchers, litterateur, and architects use uncanny in their works.
