Design Workshop I

The course deals with architectural “challenge” as a tool for simultaneously analyzing and projecting urban reality to the future. Interventions take place all around the city of Volos and its topographic background. The urban development of the city will be studied through a series of transformations of its structured and geographical totality. Our basic aim is for the students to select a project and work on it up to the scale of architectural detail, as a part of redesigning the plans and the map of this city.
