Subject of this thesis is to study the reconstruction of a listed building in the historic center of Limassol.
The considered building located on the corner of St. Andrews and Zik-Zak. The St. Andrew is pedestrianized and is the main commercial axis of the old city. Throughout the length of the encounter listed buildings built with ashlar stonework and detailing influenced by European rates-eclecticism-. Some may still bear traces of plaster on exterior colors of ocher and crimson Habré previously used. Street Zik-Zak find Kebir Mosque, which is the most important religious building of the Ottoman city. The aim of the study is the restoration and preservation of the building shell and start construction of the interior, in order to form a unified whole. The change of use of ground floor from three independent shops and a house on the first floor, in a "house way" able to host in seven private rooms and provide a semi-public space square-lounge-bar.
