In the information age the intellectual landscape has changed. It is certain that machine still exists, but even there its place is taken by the automation, and non-linear production, distancing us more and more from the industrial paradigm.Concepts such as objectivity, zoning and prototyping have lost their existence, being replaced by the search for subjective diversity and synchronicity. The assumption of objective truth, which the conventional architecture still holds, contrasts with the contemporary social life, unable to meet the needs posed by the information age.In the landscape of heterogeneity the most essential dimension and interval is the time, consequently the very demand of synchronicity catalyses the timeless existence of the static snapshot architecture. Designed space, due to the inability to meet the contemporary changes, produced by the technology standard, becomes a deserted area, with the balance being lost to the digital world, and the question what is the meaning of architecture and what the role of the architect should be,rendering more and more crucial. The transition to now seems imperative, however is not only based on the consideration of new hypothesis', but demands a redefinition of the means to achieve them.
