The objective of this inquiring work is to describe the knowledge on the way  of exploitation and integration on the building envelope,of solar energy, for the required energy needs and not only, of  man, with regard to the spaces where he lives, works and exists. The work begins with a historical retrospection from the antiquity ,presenting the beginnings that were adopted in the planning of buildings and they are applied ,evolved, up to today. It is reported in the relation of economy and energy, by the first energy crises up to today and it presents how their interaction became the cause for the growth, after a lot of researches, of the solar systems and the creation of solar buildings.Then such examples of model solar buildings are presented and afterwards the solar systems that were developed by the energy analyses of model solar buildings but also after researches and financing of states with the contribution and the industrial branch, up to the dues of decade the 80, are analyzed extensively.

There is an apposition of variants but also advantages and disadvantages of each system. The research continues with the analysis of modern way of buildings exploitation of solar energy, the double glazing facades. Finally, there is a presentation of  modern examples of architecture, that are based on the solar planning, as well as examples from Greece. The research finishes with a conclusion for the relations of solar systems - building and solar building - user.
