This research project examines the evolution of bioclimatic architecture in parallel with the evolution of human society, focusing on a broad time period, from antiquity to the modern era. The research begins with a chronological review of multiple architectural projects, innovations, architects, and movements related to the integration of climate into architectural design and the use of various renewable energy sources to achieve thermal comfort. The study continues with a short reference of future goals of the EU to reduce the environmental pollution caused by construction industries, as well as the energy footprint of buildings. Furthermore, new techniques that are in an experimental stage and can be used in bioclimatic architecture to achieve these future goals are being explored. Additionally, ways in which the evolution of technology and artificial intelligence can contribute to the management of energy consumption and efficiency are being studied. The research concludes with a detailed comparison between the biological evolution of living organisms in nature and the evolution of bioclimatic architecture, highlighting the common characteristics that appear between them.
