The subject of the following architectural thesis concerns the design of a new 'Ecological Village' on the site of the forest village in Evia, near the village of Papades, which was destroyed after the devastating fires that hit the area in 2021.

 The design of this ecological community aims to create a human-centered and environmentally conscious design proposal, adapted to the new climatic conditions, and to the composition of a community with an environmentally friendly character.

 Rebuilding on the remnants of the devastated land, which before the catastrophic fires of 2021 was a lush forest paradise that housed a forest village within its pristine landscape, a highly innovative ecological habitat is being regenerated. The goal is to highlight the natural wealth of Papades, raise awareness among residents and visitors about environmental destruction, utilize the potential of local natural materials, and preserve the traditions of the area through various events and activities, thus promoting a way of life that is environmentally conscious and respectful of the environment.
