This research paper concerns the most important urban cultivations in Thessaloniki, which is my hometown, specifically the Per.ka in the area of Polichni and Kipos3 in the city center, in the area of Kaftanzoglio. Through a historical review, the origins of the creation of this work are traced, which have had a significant impact on the creation and prosperous development of cities in Europe and America. The scientific field of urban planning, urban architecture, and city design also provides the theoretical background upon which this practice was developed, and therefore many relevant positions and terminologies are analyzed.

Ultimately, the presentation of the examined urban cultivations aims to make this specific practice widely known for the benefit of both the city of Thessaloniki itself and its inhabitants.
