This present research consern the study and description of part of the basic konstantino’s Doxiadis urban studies who in the international literature occupies an important position as a urban planner who change the face of cities and states. In this particular case the urban studies which are described are (Athens, Iraklion, Islamabad with a special emphasis on planning the expansion of the city of Riyadh) either with the form of general urban plans or with the other of urban plans. Konstantin’s Doxiadis In the 1940s he already began to describe and formulate his own urban theories and his opinion about the space and its function. Since 1960s these principles have been applied in a large number of cities with the existence and evolution of motor vehicles and their effect on the shaping of the city always related to the existence of the center. In the general context of RESIDENTIAL a series of principles were formulated urban transport planning that managed to be applied in practice in a significant number of both new settlements and the expansion of existing. Cases such as those of Pakistan, Islamabad, Ghana, Zambia, the housing program plans of Baghdad, Lebanon, Syria, as well as the regulatory plans of Washington ,DC East wick, Cincinnati, Oklahoma are some of his extensive body of work. His studies of Brooklyn, Detroit and Miami as well as the important works in Saudi Arabia from 1965-1970 are also included in his urban planning works. In Greece some of his best known works are the village of white houses that he studied designed and supervised on behalf of the aluminum company Greece with the main purpose of housing 5000 workers and their families in an area near Delphi, the holiday settlement of Apollonios resort in Porto Rafti as well as the building of the National Research Institute in Athens
