In modern urban societies, there has long been a debate about the need to change lifestyles, to renegotiate people's relationship with the environment, change the pace and ways of expression both in everyday life and in the philosophical strategy, gentle upgrade of quality of life. The cutting off of people in big cities from the environment, the rapid social alienation, the adoption and use of innovative technologies for constructions that are usually not environmentally friendly and many other natural factors prove the irrational way in which man has developed the collective his life.
In recent years there has been intense political interest from numerous organized groups of citizens living in scattered places around the world, to redefine the design principles of buildings, settlements and cities. These are politically active people who have realized that the anthropogenic environment needs proper management. Collective living spaces need to be redesigned to properly support all aspects of life.
