The present work concerns the historical and spatial approach of Kimi Evias, as my grandmother, Batsa-Soulioti Maria is narrating, but also through her own museum collection.
An experiential approach of my hometown, through its buildings, its people as well as the objects they used. And just as the space is being woven with time, via this narration and video recording, the one that is being highlighted is the relationship of the inhabitants with Kimi and the history of the city as it is joined with present times.
An audiovisual walk through theurban web of the city that transforms the space in anexperiential museum. The narration manages to emerge the history of the town as it connects the memory and time with the space.
The humble, everyday objects as they are exhibited in my grandmother's "museum", the revival of an old era’s conditions as well as situations, human relationships, hard work and lifestyle, led me to "build" the micro-history of my hometown, trying to express the substanceof the natural and the anthropogenic environment of that particular era.
How they had fun then? How they were trained? How they earned their living? What their living conditions looked like? How did they fall in love? All questions would be answered.
