This research refers to the phenomena of reflections and their interaction with architecture and art. Reflection phenomena are constantly present in everyday life. Reflections on the surface of the water, in mirrors and in the windows! In addition, the question is how much these reflections affect our daily lives and whether we are able to observe and study them in our environment.
At the beginning of the research, the categories of reflections are studied and their application to architecture and art is presented. The selected architectural constructions and paintings cover the entire spectrum of reflections. Artists attempt to use reflections to spark an internal dialogue with viewers about the value and use of reflections, providing in some cases varied experiences for these people.
Both the study of reflections in architecture and the research on their use in painting raise questions about how we ourselves experience and are influenced by these phenomena and how we can eventually enter into their world to observe them. For this reason, it is attempted to record reflections inside a home as well as in the outside environment of the city. Finally, maquettes of various sizes are made, which will incorporate all types of reflections, with the aim of directly understanding of these phenomena, so that the viewer can study them more effectively.
