The present research is concerned with the concept of landscape and habitat. Landscape is a concept with many interpretations, depending on the use, the purpose we approach, observe or interpret. A landscape can be considered a natural or structured landscape, as well as a landscape that may result from a natural or non-natural disaster, as well as from a human intervention that can change the landscape of a landscape by creating a new one. Landscape can be considered anything that surrounds us. Every human activity is an intervention in the landscape and a condition for its integration. From the very beginning of man's existence, man has created conditions for living in the landscape, trying to take possession and live with him. The intense urbanization of man in the 21st century led him to the need to come closer to the landscape, to nature • either traveling to forests, mountains, lakes, the sea, etc. or bringing the natural element closer to him. After developing these concepts and describing them to reinforce our perception and attitude towards the landscape, examples of architectural integration with the landscape have been taken into account with important considerations taken into account. These parameters relate to the aesthetic enjoyment I want, the respect for the environment and the landscape of a place, and the integration of a home with the least deterioration of the landscape. Finally, selected texts are presented from the workshop on landscape readings and perspectives in Greece held at the Department of Architectural Engineering of the University of Thessaly in 2003, creating a new reflection on a familiar but also obsolete space: the landscape.
