Studies show that in recent decades there is a marginalization of the outdoor urban space and urban furniture, since more attention is being paid on the right design of a building, with direct financial benefits, and not to a pleasant urban roaming and outdoor stay. In this study, the definition of the right and simultaneously environmental urban outdoor design and urban furniture will be explored. The parameters that affect the conditions of an outdoor space, as well as the way that they can be improved will be analyzed. The definition of the stay at the outdoor urban space will also be explored, since it will conduct the final stage of this study. At this stage, the design of a sustainable bus stop will be investigated, that will contribute to the amelioration mainly of its users’ thermal comfort during their stay, while it will try to achieve the least possible environmental charge via its construction and function. Finally, its purpose will also be to sensitize the public on the current environmental and social issues.
