The trail to Makrinitsa … and other tales

Virtual tour of a series of thematic routes across the Pelion hiking trail Aidonofolies-Koukourava-Makrinitsa-Stagiates-Aidonofolies by means of texts, images and interactive small-scale constructions.

• 18.00-21.00: Educational activity in the form of a floor game _ in the framework of the panhellenic campaign Green Cultural Routes of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports
• 21.00-23.00: Narrative presentation of the thematic routes _ in the framework of the elective course Narrative Trails of the Department of Architecture of the University of Thessaly

By means of narrative mapping, the proposals intend to highlight the elements of the natural and man-made environment by unfolding the cultural identity of the Pelion area (folk tradition, culture, mythology, oral history, …).

The event is taking place in the context of the pilot project Narrative Trails: Designing [for] the Pelion routes that is held by the Building Structures Research Unit | ma[K]e of the Department of Architecture in the framework of a multi-disciplinary collaboration within the University of Thessaly.
