Abstract evaluation completed, letters of acceptance/rejection sent!
For the 2006 conference in Volos, 210 abstracts were submitted and evaluated by an international board of 56 reviewers. Trying to accomodate as many presentations as possible in order to:

make a more inclusive conference by minimising the rejection rate,
have more and diverse ideas being communicated and
encourage younger researchers in participating

the eCAADe committee in its last meeting decided to change the typical full paper and poster sessions to mixed sessions of long and short papers. Hence, the full/long papers can be either 6 or 8 pages long in the printed proceedings, whereas the short papers will be either 2 or 4 pages. All papers accepted and presented in the conference will be included in the conference proceedings. Furthermore, both long and short papers will be presented in sessions during the 3 days of the conference (short papers will be given slightly less time for presentation – 10 instead of 15 minutes – depending on time schedule and sessions' structure). There will not be poster sessions. In order to accomodate the extra presentations, a third parallel afternoon session will be introduced (either in normal or roundtable format). Overall, 40 abstracts were rejected, 60 accepted as short papers and 110 as long papers.

1. To confirm after receiving the acceptance e-mail that the paper will be submitted and presented at the conference;
2. The paper will take into account the relevant reviewers' comments;
3. The paper is formatted according to the prescribed layout;
4. The paper is sent by the deadline, June 5th;
5. The author who will present the paper is registered by June 5th;
6. The paper is presented at the conference.
