Lina Dima studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (Diploma 2003 & MSc 2005). She holds a PhD in History and Theory of Architecture (NTUA, 2015), in which she expounded the Organic City of 4th CIAM and the modern idea of a universal spirit. Study and research of important European archives (EMA-Kunstbibliothek & AdK-Archiv Berlin, ArkDes Stockholm, gta-ETH Zürich, die angewandte, TU Wien). As a practicing architect, she has won prizes in architectural competitions and has realized several projects in Greece, including houses, blocks of flats, commercial, and industrial buildings. Dima’s built work has been awarded, exhibited (Athens, Patras, Volos, Boston, Brussels, Venice), and widely published. She was a member of the Scientific, Design, and Construction Committees for the Greek Pavilion #ThisIsACo-op at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition - la Biennale di Venezia (2016). Post-Doctoral research on the mobility of architects during the interwar period (NTUA, 2018-2019). Co-editor of The Return of the Modern. 25 Years Greek Docomomo (Athens, 2018).
