  Souliotou Anastastia Zoi / Adjunct Lecturer

Biography

Anastasia Zoi Souliotou is a visual artist and holds a PhD from Paris 8 University in Aesthetics, Science & Art Technologies. She graduated from the Department of Visual Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and from the Department of Theatrical Studies, Athens University(Greece). She carried out postgraduate studies at Kingston University of London (MA Art & Space and MRes Art & Technology).

She has worked as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Thessaly, University of West Attica and University of Western Macedonia. 

She has carried out a post-doctoral research on the importance of the Arts in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts& Mathematics)at the University of Thessaly. She has also collaborated with research centres: Contemporary Art Research Centre (CARC) at Kingston University of London; Laboratoire Art des Images et Art Contemporain (AI-AC) at Paris 8 University; Aegean Research Centre, Athens, Greece.

She has collaborated with cultural institutions and foundations: the Hellenic Foundation in Paris (Fondation Hellénique), the National Theatre of Greece, the Intercultural Centre of Paris 8 University (CIVD), the Onassis Foundation Scholars Association, the Leventis Foundation Scholars Associationand the Victoria Square Project (VSP).

She has done solo exhibitions in cultural centres and galleries in Greece, London and Paris. She has also participated in collective exhibitions and artistic events worldwide: Greece, UK, USA, France, China, Lebanon, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Serbia, Russia, Netherlands, Argentina and Malta.
