The street market is a colorful and diverse space that can be seen from many different aspects.
The subjects that interested us are many, ephemeral and diachronic. They overlap and can been seen in a unique way from every viewer, like the unique experience of walking through the street market.
Stage, performance, figures, play set, communion, mimicry, identification, catharsis. They are elements that we borrowed to discover the parallelisms between street market and theater. We studied the structure and the relationship between those two performances. We searched for the role of market in the city, the sociology, the architecture and the philosophy.
The market and the city were born together out of the need of the people for exchange and communication. Street market lies within the city and it is the city.
