The research paper intends to carry out, as far as possible, an analysis of the relationships and effects between architectural practice, the architect and the computing medium. An attempt is initially made to understand the course of this relationship to date and the changes it has brought about in both synthetic logic and design tools and methods. Modifications made to the practice of architecture using digital design tools are developed. The following are the ways and conditions that have changed compared to the past, as a result of the increasing entry of the computer, both in architectural practice and architectural education. In the third part of the work, an attempt is made to make, at least first degree, a theoretical critical approach to the new opportunities and possibilities that are formed in the field of architecture and the way it can function in the future, in a digital world.
